Recorded and edited in Hawaii with Grammy-winning and co-founder of the Hawaii Music Festival, Tony Iommi ("a great Italian who moved from New York to the island to visit the islands"), it was recorded at the Hawaiian Music Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, under the direction of his longtime collaborator and friend, legendary producer, songwriter and producer R.E.M.
The album contains 11 songs, including three by Ako, and "a pretty cool Christian song that celebrates what our brother Jesus did for us.
We have many regular customers who come here to celebrate bar mitzvah parties, graduate from high school and then come back for wedding rehearsals and dinners, or get married in our wonderful redwood grove outdoors and have a day or two of fun with friends and family. Every year, we hold a haunted house with an extravagant Cajun dinner buffet on the Day of the Dead and Halloween. We have weekly Malnixes with artists who join us for dinner, meet with friends over a glass of wine and paint all evening long. In June, we will host a wine tasting of Northern California wines and wines from the United States and Canada.
